If you're following along with my 1916 Table Cover Replica journey, the first progress page is now available!
In this section, I’m sharing:
- Rounds 1–8 (with stitch counts)
- a mini stitch key (including the vintage/UK abbreviations used in the original)
- my rewritten instructions in US terms
- and a detailed walk-through of the first Tunisian “pyramid” round, including two updates I made for cleaner shaping
Quick note: If you plan to crochet along, keep an eye on how your center is sitting as it grows—flat is the goal at this stage. And don’t stress if it looks a touch wavy before blocking.
I’ll continue adding to the series as each section is completed and edited—no weekly schedule, just steady progress (the best kind!).
